Burned Blue (Austin, TX) is a rock quartet featuring Johnny Gibson (drums), Chris McMillan (guitar/vocals), Tyson Swindell (bass/vocals), and Ky Williams (guitar). Formed in Amarillo, TX (December of 1995) after serving short stints as waterboys for rival high school football teams, the band exploded out of the hyper-exclusive Amarillo Punk/Indie scene and built itself a shockingly loyal following. In January of 1998, Chris relocated to Austin, TX; the rest of the band followed in August of 1999. Their sound has consistently evolved, with songs showing a natural progession--louder, more complex, smarter. The band has successfully released three records and is currently working on new material for an upcoming EP/LP. They also completed two tours of the southern U.S and are planning another. Burned Blue is currently looking for label representation, distribution, and/or management.
